We realize that no two families are the same and as such tailor we tailor our treatments to meet the specific needs of our clients and families.

Our practice specializes in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an award-winning, gold standard treatment for children ages 2-8 with impairing disruptive, self-regulation behaviors that interfere with family, peer and student-teacher relationships. These children carry a variety of externalizing diagnoses, e.g., oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and ADHD. PCIT has been adapted as well for children with primary anxiety disorders and with ASD (Autism). We offer PCIT in both English and Spanish.

NEW OFFERING: PCIT FOR OLDER CHILDREN (AGES 7-10). Also offered in English and Spanish.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents or caregivers. Research shows that TF-CBT successfully resolves a broad array of emotional and behavioral difficulties associated with single, multiple and complex trauma experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of talking therapy which can be used to treat people with a wide range of mental health problems. CBT is based on the idea that how we think (cognition), how we feel (emotion) and how we act (behavior) all interact together. is one of the most effective forms of therapy for children with anxiety. Although it’s helpful for all ages, studies show it’s especially effective for kids in the 11-13 age range

We also offer other therapy services, including sand tray therapy and play therapy, for children of all ages! We offer adolescent services as well.
